By accessing and using the Kalpa EV website (kalpaev.com) and booking EV charging services, you ("User," "Customer," "you") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Agreement"). If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our Website or services.
These Terms apply to:
- Website browsing and registration
- EV charging station bookings
- Payment transactions through Razorpay
- Customer support interactions

3. Services Provided
3.1 What We Offer
- Booking and reservation of EV charging stations at multiple locations
- Real-time availability and pricing information
- Mobile app and website access for station finder
- Charging equipment including DC fast chargers and AC slow chargers
- Customer support and technical assistance
3.2 Service Availability
- Available 24/7 for charging sessions
- Website and app available with periodic maintenance windows
- Services subject to equipment availability and maintenance schedules
- We reserve the right to restrict access during emergencies or security issues
3.3 Eligibility
You must be:
- At least 18 years old
- A valid vehicle owner or authorized fleet operator
- Possess a valid driver's license or authorization to operate the vehicle
- In compliance with Indian traffic and safety regulations
4. User Account & Registration
4.1 Account Creation
- Provide accurate, complete, and current information
- Maintain confidentiality of your login credentials
- Notify us immediately of unauthorized account access
- You are responsible for all activities under your account
4.2 Account Termination
Kalpa EV may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms and Conditions
- Engage in fraudulent, illegal, or harmful activities
- Default on payment obligations
- Use services for prohibited purposes
- Violate safety or security protocols
5. Booking & Reservation Terms
5.1 Booking Process
- Select charging location, date, and time through Website/app
- Review pricing and availability before confirmation
- Receive booking confirmation via email/SMS
- Arrive within 15 minutes of scheduled time
5.2 Reservation Rules
- Minimum booking applies for AC and DC charging sessions
- Booked slots are held for 15 minutes after start time
- Available slots may allow early check-in
- Free cancellation or rescheduling up to 2 hours before booking
5.3 No-Show Policy
- Customers who don't arrive within 15 minutes forfeit the booking
- Payment is non-refundable for no-shows
- Repeated no-shows may result in booking restrictions
6. Pricing & Payment
6.1 Charges
- Prices displayed in Indian Rupees (INR)
- GST (18%) added at checkout
- Additional charges may apply for peak hours or overstay
- Parking or late cancellation fees may apply
6.2 Payment Processing
- Payments processed through Razorpay
- Accepted methods include cards, UPI, Net Banking, and wallets
- GST invoices provided for all transactions
- All transactions processed in INR
6.3 Recurring Charges
- Monthly subscriptions renew automatically
- Subscription changes take effect within 24 hours
- Subscriptions can be cancelled anytime through account settings
6.4 Pricing Changes
- Pricing may change with 7 days notice
- Existing bookings honor booking-time pricing
- Subscription renewals follow updated pricing
7. Refund & Cancellation Policy

7.2 Cancellation by Kalpa EV
Kalpa EV may cancel bookings due to:
- Equipment malfunction
- Safety hazards or severe weather
- System errors or force majeure events
Refund: Full refund issued within 5-7 business days.
7.3 Refund Processing
- Refunds sent to original payment method
- Processing time may vary by bank
- Status available in Transactions section
- Razorpay refund confirmations sent by email
7.4 Service Issues & Complaints
If you experience equipment malfunction, billing errors, or service quality issues, report within 24 hours to support@kalpaev.com.
8. Charging Equipment & Safety
8.1 User Responsibilities
- Use chargers only with compatible electric vehicles
- Follow all on-site safety instructions
- Do not modify or damage charging equipment
- Ensure proper parking during charging sessions
- Monitor your vehicle while charging
8.2 Equipment Safety
- Chargers are regularly inspected and maintained
- Safety shutoff systems are installed
- Report equipment faults immediately
- Kalpa EV is not responsible for user negligence
8.3 Prohibited Use
- Using chargers for non-EV purposes
- Tampering with charging equipment
- Leaving vehicles unattended excessively
- Using chargers during safety alerts
- Vandalism or theft
9. Liability & Disclaimers
9.1 Service "As-Is"
- Services provided without warranties
- Continuous uptime is not guaranteed
- Maintenance downtime may occur
- Technical issues may arise beyond our control
9.2 Limitation of Liability
- Kalpa EV is not liable for indirect or consequential damages
- Liability limited to amount paid in previous 12 months
- Not liable for third-party service failures
- Not liable for natural disasters or force majeure
9.3 Vehicle & Personal Safety
- Kalpa EV does not assume responsibility for theft or vandalism
- Users assume responsibility for vehicle and personal safety
- Insurance coverage is recommended
9.4 Third-Party Content
- We are not responsible for third-party links or providers
- User-generated reviews remain user responsibility
10. Intellectual Property
10.1 Ownership
- Website content and trademarks belong to Kalpa EV
- Limited personal-use license granted to users
